Shmooze

[Just enough time to get in a few words before the totally stupid brokers party I have to attend because half our building's tenants have gone under and defaulted on their leases. We're now plying brokers from all over the Bay Area with food and drink to get them to bring the few solvent companies looking for space to our building, and we of the building manangement staff get to help. Real estate brokers are like used car salesmen, but slightly better dressed. Unctuous, crass, and stupid. God, I hate my job.]

[Well, aren't we a perky bit of sunshine! After work I rush home for my only night alone with John this week, and we'll be spending it getting ready for Jessica's visit tomorrow. She got me an extra ticket to the Weezer show at the Bill Graham Auditorium. I haven't listened to them since the "Sweater" and "Buddy Holly" days, so I'm not sure what to expect. Fun, fun, fun.]
