You're Dressed Up, You're Messed Up

[Bay Area readership: come to Backflip tonight at 7PM. If the Go-Go's can't cheer you up, who can? I don't know about you, but I could use it.]

[Looks like I'm going solo to Santa Barbara this weekend. If the girls can't get me out of this funk, maybe time served with Jessica and Caleb and Max and Melissa (not to mention fantastic food and nude beaches) can do it.]

[I love to see bloggers and diarists I enjoy link each other. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this phenomenon: many of the people I read, who are otherwise unconnected, seem to be gathered in geographic nodes. My Bay Area list is unsurprising (thought the fact the two of them live near each other in Oakland, and are from Minnesota, is odd), but New Orleans? And a certain Canadian city? Weird, eh?]
