Your Concert Lies In Dust

[We were pretty disappointed by last night's Siouxsie & the Banshees show at the Warfield. John was very pissed that he didn't recognize one song. He thought everything sounded the same, and the light show gave us both headaches. (Hint: lighting is supposed to illuminate the performer, not blind the audience.) I would like to have heard more hits too, but I knew some of the early stuff, and appreciated the astute pairing of "Arabian Nights" and "Israel" during the encore. Sounds like the previous night's show at the Fillmore would've been more up our alley. Oh, well, you pays your money...]

[After reading him for four years, I was pleased finally to spot, across a crowded Warfield lobby, my earliest web celeb, there with his beau. Didn't know David was so tall...]

[Oh, dear, John just found the stiffened corpse of the mouse that has shared our apartment for awhile. Took long enough for the poison to have its effect. (Don't bother writing me about cruelty to animals; it was Mousy or John, and I'm not about to give up five years and three days for some dang critter.)
