[The week that is...]

[Monday's cute little tremor happened as John and I watched Not Another Teen Movie the night before my Contracts final. We dutifully bestirred our asses from the chesterfield and stood underneath a doorway until we were sure it had passed. No sweat.]

[Yes, I know I shouldn't be watching movies the night before a final, but I'd done a practice exam that afternoon, and felt just fine...and yesterday's exam went just fine, I think. (Of course that's what I thought at mid-year, and the results were less than stellar.)]

[And today, I started at the front desk of the hotel where almost every other one of my friends works. May take me day or two to learn the computer system, and a bit longer to understand why THIS WORLD IS FULL OF FREAKS. Some of my new coworkers are dillies...oh, well, grist for the blogging mill, no doubt.]

[Not too impressed with the new Moby album, but warming to Weezer's latest. Oh, and John's also been dragging home a lot of dubious vintage vinyl from shady record shops. Pia Zadora feat. Jermaine Jackson? Toni Basil's second album?! One of Cher's disco-era albums that contains a track recently covered by Sophie Ellis-Bextor?!! "Take me home...take me ho-o-ome..."]
