Dreaming of Greece...and a job

[Greece reunion party last night. I wore the crinkly linen shirt I bought during my last minute shopping spree in Ermou Street the last day in Athens, and made a fairly accurate reproduction of the Greek salad we seemed to have at every meal. It was as good as I knew it would be to hook up with the group; it's been my experience when one does one of these summer camp-esque deals, one forms intense friendships that fade away as quickly as the tan. However, because I'll be seeing almost all these people in the upcoming school year, maybe something will stick this time.]

[My dread of finding my first real law job (required for graduation: 600 hours of public-interest related internship) came back as everyone discussed what they've been doing this summer. While I've managed to put together an adequate portfolio of legal and politcal writing (the sine qua non for getting a foot in the door), there's something holding me back from going after a dream job. Part of the problem is I don't really know what the dream job is - I know what I'm interested in, but the landscape seems dauntingly terra incognita.]
