[RIP, Johnny Cash. John picked up your last album a little while ago, and it's made a couple of spins in the CD player. I think it'll get one more today.]

[Also, bizarrely, John Ritter. For better or for worse, Three's Company was as much a part of my childhood as were tales from Greek mythology. I saw him last in the criminally unrecognized Tadpole last year, a movie more memorable for Bebe Neuwirth than Ritter or Sigourney Weaver. Still...]

[What a week. Today's my last, frantic day at the Cute Vic. I've spent the past week trying squeeze work, school, and mental preparation for the start of my internship in between caring for a very sick boyfriend. We were at Kaiser hospital on Geary on Wednesday for a couple of hours getting him rehydrated via I.V. If you happened to walk by and saw a brown-haired guy in black-framed specs sitting on a curb and sobbing to his mother over his cell phone, I hope you ignored me, er, him. He was just remembering his last trip to the E.R., and having dramatics. We both feel much better now.]
