[I realized today that it's been a while since I've felt so thoroughly San Franciscan as this morning when, while riding to Trader Joe's on the 38L, I read the word "playa" in two different pieces in the Weekly. In both cases, I had to study the contexts to determine that one meant "a player," while the other referred to the plain on which Burning Man is held.]
