[Before being felled by a hideous flu for 72 hours, do:]

2. Change the sheets;
3. Charge your cell phone;
4. Clean your room so you don't trip on books, empty vitamin water bottles, and the odd sneaker while stumbling to the bathroom;]

[1. Read Gore Vidal's Creation, with its vivid accounts of Zoroastrianism, because you will have feverish dreams of wrestling with fire demons. Those demons will rip off your arms and beat you with them. Later, you'll wake up and realize you've been sleeping on one of your own arms and the circulation's been cut off.]
