Do You Think You Made The Right Decision This Time?

[So, the words and images from London are unsettling my day. I was there three times in three years, and like most people, got to know the city via the Underground. For me and almost everyone, the Tube is London, so the attacks were certainly targeted for maximum emotional and practical impact.]

[I do like this reaction, though, even if I did get it from Andrew Sullivan. It strikes me as being very London.]

[Also very London: Being Julia, which I finally caught last night at a new friend's deeeluxe apartment in the sky. The establishing shots of West End theatres made me get a little choky. Must go back. Soon. (Oh, and the movie? Good, and more All About Eve-ish than I expected. Annette Bening deserved her Oscar nomination, but Bette Davis could've nailed that role in one take.)]
