When The Wicked Meets The Winter

[They tell me it snowed in Seattle last night. It occurs to me that I haven't been in snow since I went to Tahoe with some coworkers something like seven years ago. Luckily, I'm holding a fleecy winter coat in trust, a coat I get to use maybe twice a year. So when he picks me up at Sea-Tac tonight, he can expect to see me swaddled more effectively than the average "Oh-a-few-layers-of-cotton-will-be-OK" Californian.]

[In preparation for this trip, I ventured last night for the first time in many months to Chinatown to search for caramelized-milk-coated green tea, and got caught in the season's first impressive torrential downpour. There are no tea shops in the block of Grant Avenue with the Wok Shop, caro, and the shopkeepers along what I discovered to be "herbal row" (Clay between Grant and Stockton) had never heard of the product either. I picked up a couple of little treats though...I can't remember if my host is ovo-lacto veg or not; I hope he is.]

[While in Seattle, I plan to visit the plant where the glass for the lights I sell everyday is blown; retrieve a sweater that has been staying up there since the last trip in September; and figure something out that has occupied me in one form or another for many years. The stars are aligned, even if I won't be able to see them under Puget Sound's wintry overcast skies.]
