Be Here (And Thin) Now

[OK, universe, I can you hear loud and clear: I need to be a little more present. Sometime between leaving Chris's flat early Sunday afternoon and before that early evening at my place, I lost my wallet.]

[First time I was ever thankful that my credit cards were maxed out. Plus, I hate my current drivers license image. I know, who doesn't, but really...I look like I have a goiter or something in that picture, and I wasn't even fat then! So, off I will go on Friday to San Francisco's one and only DMV office (certain south- and westsiders - and other specialized citizens - no doubt find Daly City's more convenient) to get a new photo taken.]

[I don't care that it's not on my way to any other last-minute (read: all) Christmas shopping. And I'm not eating until then.]
