Games To Play When You're Sick At Home

[Did my first post-Oscars trek to the cinema last night with Allen. V For Vendetta had lots to recommend it, but it dragged in spots. Also, it was once again one of those films seeming to feature every English actor we've already seen many times elsewhere: Henry V, Peter's Friends, Love, Actually...you know the drill. It's as though Old Blighty has only twenty film stars who are kept busy hopping from movie to movie. No wonder the whole Emma Thompson-Kenneth Branagh-Helena Bonham Carter thing happened.]

[I'm fighting a nasty cold or flu. For once, the fact that I really don't have the means to go out this weekend doesn't fill me with the sense that I'll be missing something. I want to lie in a darkened room with soup, tea, and Merchant Ivory films at my arm, and I think that's just what I'll do. (I'd leave work early, but we ordered yesterday from this place, and I don't want to miss it. They gave us a two-hour delivery window which is about to close. Give me my chicken makhni with a chana masala back, goddammit!)]

[And finally, a meme from Mike:

Ask me a question about each of the following:

- Friends
- Sex
- Music
- Religion
- Love
- Blogging

...by posting them in my Guestbook, and I'll answer there as honestly as I can.]
