The only error I spotted was that there are three roommates at Maison le Trou rather than four, but his thoughts on the difficulty of creating a sense of home in such a setting are true enough. Still, Chris, Elisabeth and I do manage to have warm, interesting discussions in the kitchen, and Chris and I still have totally unnecessary fights about nothing. Sounds like home to me, and there's much more a sense of that by far than in my two previous living situations.] [My new friend Shaun Landry just blogged about working as an extra, a topic she declaimed upon in detail when John and I met her Saturday night at the Onion event. The woman declaims; it's why she's in the career she's in.] [Lastly, speaking of Chris, he wrote an excellent summation of our trip downtown to view the wonderful Persepolis. Now if only Jessica would start blogging, you'd know more about her and Bob's imminent move to Big Bear Lake, the details of which I heard during a phone conversation remarkably unblocked by their drive over dirt roads in the San Bernardino Mountains. It was fun having a place to visit in the Hollywood Hills for a minute there, but I'm looking forward to exploring their new, much more affordable neck of what is literally the woods.] Previously Next |
