Birthday Week So Far

[Tuesday: out for drinks with Allen and his new fella, pseudonym TK. Truck, Eagle, Lonestar, Powerhouse, Truck, and a little much needed tomfoolery. Next day: ow my head.]

[Thursday: performance art that mixed Sandra Bernhard with every early-to-mid '90s theme/meme/trope/convention. In my book, at my age, that is by no means a bad thing. Also with Allen, New Fella, and Sean. I dropped off swag in a minor guerrilla marketing effort, and...oh, yeah, Armistead Maupin was there.]

[Today: My parents are about to pick me up for I anticipate will be a very foggy breakfast at the Cliff House's Bistro. What's fun about having my parents come to San Francisco, besides their jolly selves, is that I do all kinds of touristy and edge-of-touristy stuff with them that, let's face it, I'm way too cool to do on my own initiative. For example, after breakfast, we're going to do a walking tour that starts at Union Square and ends up in Cow Hollow. Victorians, victorians, victorians! Then, drinks at the Waterbar, known only for its view, and then dinner...oops, I forgot make a reservation. This is my chance to take them to some off neighborhood for some quirky grub. Senegalese in the Mission, East German in SoMa? Hmm...]

[Tomorrow night, Carrie and the rest of the Dolores House crew are giving me dinner. Blessed? Yes.]
